North Carolina dad kills son, shoots ex-wife, brags about it on Facebook (photo)....

North Carolina police are hunting for a dad who killed his 15-year-old son, critically wounded his ex-wife and then used Facebook to live-broadcast his pompous confession.

“What’s up everybody? I just killed my (expletive) wife,” Earl Valentine said in his early Tuesday admission video. “I loved my wife, but she deserved what she had coming.”

Valentine called police after the grisly attack inside his ex-wife’s Norlina home and told them he was on his way to Richmond, Va., to kill more family members.

“When we spoke to him on the phone he told us he is basically armed and dangerous,” Norlina Police Chief Taylor Bartholomew told WNCN.

Police are protecting the rest of Valentine’s family while they hunt for the on-the-lam killer. Officers are searching the entire state, and parts of South Carolina and Virginia, too.

Valentine broke into Keisha Valentine’s Warren County home early Tuesday by kicking in the door, Bartholomew said.

He shot both his ex-wife and his teenage son in the chest at point-blank range, although it’s unclear if he meant to harm the 15-year-old boy: the teen may have gotten in the crossfire as he tried to protect his mom, officials said.

"It appeared the boy tried to intervene on his mother’s behalf and was also hit in the chest," Bartholomew told WTVR.

As Valentine fled the scene, his dying son use his last words to call police and report his father’s crimes. The 15-year-old told emergency dispatchers that his dad had shot him and his mother, Bartholomew said.

The teenager later died from his injuries. Keisha Valentine survived, and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

Valentine recorded his haunting confession and he drove away from Norlina, police said. He mistakenly believed his ex was dead, and he said he felt no regret for the slaying.

“She lied on me, had warrants taken out on me. She drug me all the way down to nothing,” he said in the Facebook video, which has since been removed from the social media site. “I don't feel no remorse for what I did.”

Valentine is facing a first-degree murder charge in his son's death.

Norlina is about 60 miles northeast of Raleigh and approximately 15 miles south of the Virginia state line.
